The 3rd Halifax (Luddenden Foot) had a visit from the local community Police

Members of 3rd Halifax (Luddenden Foot) Boys Brigade had a visit from the local community Police on Monday evening to learn how to be safe when out and about in the evening.

The boys were particularly excited as they got a chance to sit in the Police van and also had the opportunity to to get up close with the police uniform and equipment including handcuffs! Mrs Heather Hartwell (officer) said ”the visit had been arranged as the boys are currently exploring the work of different organisations working in our community and it was a great opportunity to address safety issues also”.

The boys were given reflective armbands to wear on coats and reflective badges to put on school bags.
