Centenary of Luddenden Foot Civic Centre and commemoration of WW1

On the 19th & 20th December 2014 an exhibition of life in Luddenden Foot and the surrounding area will be held at the Civic Institute, Station Road, Luddenden Foot from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The exhibition will include a commemoration of the lives of the residents of the village who went to serve in WW1 and will include memorabilia obtained from Luddenden Foot United Reformed Church and 3rd Halifax (Luddenden Foot) Boys Brigade Company who currently meet at the Civic Centre. Entry to the event is free but donations will be accepted.

Mrs Heather Hartwell – Luddenden Foot Community Association Secretary said ‘We very much would like to discover more about the lives of those mentioned on the Roll of Honour and notice boards that belong to the Church.
